About 'boulder beer company'|Beer Review #50: Boulder Beer Hazed and Infused Pale Ale
There are many different kinds of events that occur throughout the year in Boulder City, Nevada. One of the largest events in this small town is the "Art in the Park...where it draws nearly 100,000 guests to the historic district". This event has been going on for 46 years and this October's event will make it the 47th. Art in the Park is my most favorite event of the year and I look forward in going every year. I have never missed a single event since I was five years old. In this article I will tell you the dates and times of the events, I will give you the location of the event, let you know what to expect as far as types of arts and crafts, and tell you a the types of food are at the event and restaurants that are nearby. The Art in the Park is usually scheduled on the first weekend of October. For instance the 47th Annual Art in the Park will be on October 3rd and October 4th, 2009. The events run between the times of 9am to 5pm on both of the days. The event is located down town Boulder City, Nevada. This event is so large it takes up three parks of the town. The parks that are used for this event include Wilbur, Bicentennial, and Escalante Park. These parks are located on California Ave, Colorado St, and Arizona St. There is much to look forward to with this annual event. Every year it seems to get larger with more and more different types of artists. There is over three hundred different types of artists. These types of art basically cover the entire spectrum. The types of art include "Fine Art, Fine Craft & Traditional Craft artists selling original artwork" . After all that walking you are sure to get hungry and/or thirsty so they also have over 25 different kinds of food and beverages. The food range from the basic chicken and fingers with fries to Chinese food. You also have soft drinks, waters, smoothies, and yes there are alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, mimosas, bloody marys, margaritas and much more. If you decide you would like to go and see what else is around this historic district then you can check out some of Boulder City's famous restaurants. Coffee Cup has a lot of history in this town and has great food. Other restaurants that are within the area of the event are Big Horn Restaurant, Boulder Dam Brewing Company, Evan's Old town Grille, Grandma Daisy's candy and Ice Cream Parlor, Mel's Diner, Milo's Cellars, and Tony's Pizza and Lounge. Art in the Park is one of the events that allow the people of Boulder City and surrounding cities to come together. As this event becomes more known and sought after, there will be more funding to help keep the small town's hospital running. There is a percentage of the profits from this event goes to the hospital. There is also a raffle give away that is also another way to raise money for the hospital. If anyone wants to learn more about this event then check out the sites that I have provided with my sources. Sources: Art in the Park. (2008).
